I use two. This one:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Sear ... ablo+light

In conjunction with:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=70455

A friend was telling me that it's possible to buy considerably cheaper lights on line, from China nowadays, but I do not have any web site address to pass on. Key features to be aware of is the brightness of the light (Lumens) and the burn time, but 1 1/2 hours on max brightness should be OK, for most night rides.

Get involved dude.

And yep, up for a beer/ sesh. I'll drop the Snake a line and get him on the case.

Hopefully see you soon

Just a reminder guys. Ghost demo bikes have been delivered, they are just waiting to be ridden..

Also Felt 29er race, and a top spec Aero road Felt Ar1 (dura ace electronic shifting) if you're interested.

I'll have a few other non demo bikes there to look over (AMR 5900 - 2k best in class, ASX 4900 sub grand full sus, maybe a hardtail or two...)

See the first post for the list of demo bikes or check out the Facebook event at http://www.facebook.com/events/390301540988939/

We will be there rain or shine, hope to see some of you there.

Chatman - be good to see you there, pop over, have a chat, a look round the bikes and a ride. All you need to bring is some photo ID (driving license?) and bank card - just as proof of ID and security. All you do then is fill out a disclaimer form, leave your ID with us and you can take a bike for a ride...

I would suggest bringing your preferred pedals, whether flats or clipless as that way you can get a real feel for the bike on what you are used too - or if you are on your bike I will change them over for you and you can leave your bike with us why you try some of ours out.

Looks like the weather might be a bit better on Sunday.. fingers crossed.

We'll have a gazebo set up, so even if it is raining you'll be able to get out of the rain for a chat, eat some of our jaffa cakes :-) and look at and try some bikes.

Setting up from about 8.30....

Yeah we had a good day - there were a few people around, could have been busier, could have been a lot worse if the weather hadn't been so good. I had a number of definates that didnt show (always the way) .... These things are not that easy to organise but this forum was definitely a big help... So thanks guys.

So we had some Ghost bikes out around Thorndon for most of the day, which was good - The 29er hard tail was popular, I took it for a ride and loved it so I can see why.

Was nice to get out and about with some bikes rather than just seeing them in the shop. I might try and do something else in the summer if I can get hold of the demo bikes again... Maybe next time organise a ride with a group and get it all agreed previous.... Anyway guys, thanks, see you soon over Thorndon

VW that is a possible - so what do you mean at one of the events near here?

Jon - no worries I know how it is, shame though as you missed a good opportunity to try out some nice gear. Maybe next time.
