Here's what Thorndon looked liked today:-

Horribly wet, I stayed well clear of any mud, stuck to gravel where I could.

Not sure how accurate that is but at one point I was doing nearly 40mph! That's scary! Pretty sure I would have been a stain on the trial if I had come off...

Thorndon was a bit drier today, still too sloshy for my liking though. On the plus side there were very few other people out today, picked up some decent speed ;) Until the cows got in the way anyway.

Broxbourne woods in the south was just about doable, but the top part of northern woods at the top was impossible.

Glad to hear that in a macabre way as when I was coming home from work the sun was out and it was warm and I was gutted I wasn't riding!

Me and Festa will probably get out some time today just gonna do a leg stretcher thru Belhus along the Thames around 20 miles this afternoon, done it OK Tuesday found a reasonably dry route
